After spending time living in: Waterloo, Ontario, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Halifax, Nova Scotia, Sam couldn’t be happier to settle back in his hometown of Hamilton.

Sam earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo. Following which, he studied at Dalhousie Law School, attaining his Juris Doctor degree.

Never one to miss an opportunity to hone his skill as an advocate, Sam participated in four moots during his time in law school. In his final year he was one of four students selected to participate in the prestigious Smith Shield moot. For his performance in the moot, Sam was recognized with the Leonard A. Kitz Prize in Advocacy.

Throughout law school Sam worked at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service, where he appeared before various courts and administrative tribunals advocating for the rights of low-income individuals.

Sam articled at Agro Zaffiro and returned as an associate lawyer following his call to the Bar of Ontario in 2022. He practices in the firm’s litigation group, primarily practicing in the areas of: estate, employment, and commercial litigation.

When he’s not at the office, Sam loves spending time with friends and family exploring Southern Ontario’s many picturesque small towns and hiking trails. A self-proclaimed music geek, Sam also enjoys playing his vinyl record collection, and hunting around Hamilton’s many record stores.
