Allyson, or Ally to her friends, is an associate with the civil litigation group at Agro Zaffiro LLP. Having articled with the firm, she was thrilled to return as an associate after her Call to the Bar in 2023.
Ally’s civil litigation practice includes claims involving property damage, subrogation, personal injury, occupiers’ liability, motor vehicle accidents, insurance coverage disputes, and estate litigation. Ally frequently appears before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice and Small Claims Court.
Ally graduated from the novel partnership program between Wilfrid Laurier University and the University of Sussex in 2022; receiving her Bachelor of Arts in political science with distinction and Bachelor of Laws first class honours, respectively. During her time in law school, Ally was involved in the Legal Clinics which aimed to serve the local community by providing pro-bono legal services and promoting access to justice. She also competed in various legal competitions, including winning her Junior Advocacy Competition.
Outside of work, Ally enjoys travelling, musical theatre, and exploring Hamilton’s artisan shops, parks, and restaurants.
