Ian L. Garden is an associate in the Civil Litigation group at Agro Zaffiro LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Ian completed his articles and practiced as an associate at a full-service law firm in Hamilton. He was called to the Bar in 2024.
Ian graduated summa cum laude from McMaster University in 2019, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Justice, Political Philosophy, and Law. He subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Western University’s Faculty of Law, graduating in 2023.
Ian’s practice focuses primarily on insurance defence litigation. He has represented clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Small Claims Court, and the Landlord and Tenant Board Tribunal. Ian is committed to providing practical, cost-effective legal solutions and strives to resolve disputes efficiently while achieving favourable outcomes for his clients.
Outside of his legal practice, Ian is an avid musician and has played guitar for most of his life. He also enjoys camping, sports, playing lawn games, and spending time with his two cats.
