Born and raised in Hamilton, Philip graduated from McMaster University in 2007 where he received an Honours Bachelor of Science. Following that Philip attended McMaster University to complete a Master of Science degree, specializing in genetics and developmental biology. In his Masters, Philip was able to publish his work in a number of respected peer reviewed journals. Following the completion of his Master’s Degree, Philip attended law school at the University of Windsor, where he obtained his JD and was an active member of the law school community.
While at Windsor Law, Philip was involved in student government and was elected as the President of the Student’s Law Society. Philip was also the recipient of a J.W. Whiteside Award in recognition of his outstanding services to the Faculty of Law, the legal community, and the community of Windsor.
Philip first joined the firm as a summer student, then returned to complete his articles at Agro Zaffiro LLP. Philip took a position with the firm as an associate lawyer after his call to the bar in June 2015.
Philip practices in the Business Law and Real Estate groups at Agro Zaffiro LLP. His practice includes residential and commercial real estate, corporate transactions, debt & equity financing, and general corporate matters. Philip provides clients across southern Ontario with guidance on borrower & lender financing matters, purchase & sale transactions, the establishment of business structures, and other commercial matters. He regularly works with entrepreneurs, business owners, private corporations, institutional lenders, private lenders, and non-profit organizations.
Philip is a proud Hamiltonian, a member of the Hamilton Law Association and the Order Sons of Italy, and sits on the board that oversees the operation of the Villa Italia Retirement Residence.
