Avery is an associate in the civil litigation group at Agro Zaffiro LLP, focused primarily in the area of insurance defence.
Avery was born and raised in Hamilton. He graduated from McMaster University in 2022 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts.
Avery obtained his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School, where he was a Research Assistant and orientation leader. While in law school, Avery attended Queens University Law School’s Summer International Law Program, where he studied public international law abroad, and he spent a semester working at a legal clinic, helping low-income workers navigate employment disputes.
Avery articled with the firm in 2025/26 and returned as an associate after his Call to the Bar in 2026.
