Shubham is a senior associate in Agro Zaffiro LLP’s corporate law group. He advises clients on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, including business formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, shareholder arrangements, and day-to-day governance issues.
Before joining Agro Zaffiro, Shubham spent several years honing his corporate practice both at prominent Bay Street firms in Toronto and through close work with growing businesses across Ontario. He has acted as trusted counsel to startups, emerging and high growth companies, mid-sized corporations, and large enterprises, guiding them through everything from structuring and financing to complex commercial transactions. His experience includes advising on high-value mergers and acquisitions, shareholder disputes, venture capital financings, and equity market transactions.
Shubham was called to the Ontario Bar in 2016. He earned his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Osgoode Hall Law School, graduating in the top 3% of his class and receiving numerous awards for excellence in business law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts & Science from McGill University, where he majored in biomedical science with a specialization in anatomy and cell biology, alongside double minors in world religions and scriptural languages.
A skilled communicator in nine languages, Shubham brings a thoughtful, solution-oriented approach to client service, with an emphasis on clarity, strategy, and long-term value.
Outside of work, he enjoys yoga, reading, travelling, and discovering hidden culinary gems around the world, usually with a book in one hand and a passport in the other.
