Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (2025–2030)

1. Statement of Commitment

Agro Zaffiro LLP is committed to providing an inclusive, barrier-free environment for all clients, employees, job applicants, suppliers, and visitors who access our services. We support the goals of the AODA and are committed to meeting the requirements of the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR) in the areas of Information and Communications, Employment, Customer Service, and Design of Public Spaces, where applicable.

This Accessibility Plan outlines the firm’s strategy to identify, prevent, and remove barriers over the next five years and will be reviewed and updated at least once every five years, as required by the AODA.


2. Firm Overview

  • Staff: 50+ employees
  • Accessibility Coordinator: Appointed as of 2025 to oversee implementation and compliance

4. Areas of Focus (2025–2030)

A. Customer Service Standard

  • Ensure accessible customer service practices continue to meet the needs of clients with disabilities.
  • Train staff on how to interact respectfully and effectively with people with various disabilities.

B. Information and Communications Standard

  • Ensure all communications are clear, accessible, and available in alternate formats upon request.
  • Make digital content and the firm’s website compliant

C. Employment Standard

  • Proactively accommodate employees with disabilities throughout the employment lifecycle.
  • Review and update recruitment, onboarding, and accommodation processes.

5. 5-Year Implementation Plan

Year 1 (2025): Policy, Training, & Foundation

  • Develop and publish an Accessibility Policy
  • Finalize and distribute an Accessible Customer Service Policy
  • Appoint an Accessibility Coordinator
  • Begin mandatory AODA training for all staff and leadership
  • Create an Accommodation Policy for employees and clients
  • Establish a feedback mechanism for accessibility issues

Year 2 (2026): Digital Accessibility

  • Conduct an audit of the firm’s website and client-facing digital documents
  • Begin remediation to meet WCAG standards
  • Review digital tools (e.g., client intake forms, booking systems) for accessibility
  • Ensure accessibility features are added to email signatures and internal templates

Year 3 (2027): Employment & Internal Processes

  • Update job postings to confirm accommodations are available during hiring
  • Review and revise onboarding process for accessibility
  • Provide refresher training for managers on accommodating employees with disabilities

Year 4 (2028): Physical Space & Culture

  • Conduct an accessibility walk-through of the office
  • Make low-cost improvements (e.g., tactile signs, door handles, clear pathways)
  • Begin planning for any physical upgrades in compliance with AODA standards

Year 5 (2029–2030): Evaluation & Next Steps

  • Solicit feedback from staff, clients, and community stakeholders
  • Conduct an internal accessibility audit
  • Update the Accessibility Plan for 2030–2035
  • Publish results and planned next steps on firm’s website

6. Ongoing Accessibility Practices

  • Ensure new employees complete AODA training within 30 days of hiring
  • Provide accessible formats and communication supports upon request
  • Maintain documentation and compliance records for audits
  • Regularly review accessibility-related complaints or feedback and take appropriate action
