Veronica began working with Agro Zaffiro as a summer student in 2018 and returned to complete her articles with the firm in 2019. She joined the civil litigation group as an associate lawyer after her call to the bar in 2020. Her practice consists primarily of insurance defence litigation, property damage and subrogation claims.

Veronica completed her undergraduate degree in Political Science and North American studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, graduating with Honours. She then attended McMaster University where she obtained a Master of Arts degree in International Relations. Veronica attended the Dual JD program between the University of Windsor and the University of Detroit Mercy where she earned both a Canadian and an American JD.

While a member of the Dual JD program, Veronica was an active member in both law school communities. At the University of Windsor, she was Co-Chair of the Student Law Society’s External Outreach Committee, the Advocacy Committee, a Peer Mentor and a volunteer with Pro Bono Students Canada. At the University of Detroit Mercy, Veronica was an Associate Board member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates, where she competed in numerous moot competitions, most notably the Veterans Law Moot Competition held in Washington, D.C. At both schools, Veronica volunteered as a student ambassador, where she was able to share her love of the law with prospective and incoming students.

Veronica regularly advocates on behalf of her clients before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, as well as the Small Claims Court. Outside of work, Veronica is an avid CFL fan and enjoys attending Hamilton Ti-Cats football games.
